When the time comes to propose to your partner, it is a moment that should be remembered for the rest of your lives. Even if this is not your first time proposing, you should still pull out all of the stops to make it as special as possible. If you are struggling to come up with perfect marriage proposal ideas, then why not consider some of the suggestions below?
Idea Number One: It’s written in the Sky
If you really want to impress the woman you love, then a great idea would be to use a plane proposal. On a nice sunny day, arrange a picnic in a local park. Part way through, have the plane fly up above and get your partner to watch as it spells “Will you marry me?” This is by far one of the sweetest ways to propose to your partner and it is definitely something that will be remembered!
If you cannot arrange a picnic, then how about arranging a romantic boat ride? Obviously, this will cost a little extra money, so it is not ideal if you are on a budget.
Idea Number Two: Trivia Will You Marry Me?
A creative way to ask your loved one to marry you, is by playing a trivia game together. Start the game off normally where you both answer questions about each other. Then as the game progresses and you feel it is the right time, instead of reading out the question on the card, simply ask “Will You Marry Me?” and pull out the ring. Your loved one will not be expecting it and it is a great unique way to propose.
Idea Number Three: The Way to the Heart is through the Stomach
One of the most popular marriage proposal ideas, is to propose at your favourite restaurant. The restaurant provides the perfect romantic setting and you can get help from the waiters and waitresses.
There are several ways in which you can propose in a restaurant. A good idea, is to have the ring placed in the bottom of a champagne glass before it arrives at your table. If you want to do something a little more unique, then you could arrange for a special fortune cookie to be made for your partner that reads “Will You Marry Me?” As she reads it, you should pull out the ring and get down on one knee.
The above are just three great ways in which you can propose to the person you love. Ideally, in any proposal, you should make it unique to the two of you. Maybe you could have her favourite song playing in the background as you propose? Whatever you choose to do, make sure that it is memorable, as the engagement is something that you both want to have fond memories of for years to come.
